Terms of Use

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use plusq for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and that each authorized user will comply with these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not install, purchase, or use plusq.

Shirokane Suri, LLC. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use plusq in accordance with the plan you purchase.

A Personal license is for one user and may be activated on up to three devices. You are responsible for protecting your license key and for activity using it. Notify us if you believe it has been compromised.

The version acquired during the covered update period may continue to be used after that period ends. plusq and its documentation remain owned by Shirokane Suri and its licensors; no ownership rights are transferred to you.

The free trial is intended for evaluation and may be limited by time or functionality. Attempting to reset or circumvent trial or activation controls is prohibited.

Paddle is the merchant of record for purchases and handles payment collection, applicable taxes, receipts, and refunds. Prices and included update periods are shown at checkout before purchase.

An update entitlement provides access to versions released during its stated period. It does not guarantee any specific feature, release schedule, or perpetual maintenance.

You may not misuse plusq or help another person do so.

• Do not copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or distribute the software or license key except where law expressly permits.
• Do not reverse engineer or bypass security, licensing, usage, or access controls except where applicable law cannot restrict that activity.
• Do not use plusq to gain unauthorized access, disrupt systems, or violate law or third-party rights.
• You are responsible for database queries, credentials, AI provider usage, and costs incurred through services you configure.

You may use plusq only with databases and systems that you own, control, or are legally authorized to access. Database operations can alter or delete data. You are solely responsible for reviewing queries, maintaining appropriate access controls, and making reliable backups.

You retain ownership of your database content, query files, and other materials. Where content must be processed to provide a feature you request, you grant us only the limited rights necessary to provide that feature.

If you voluntarily submit product feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, but this does not transfer ownership of your database content or query code.

plusq connects to databases, cloud services, Git repositories, and AI providers selected by you. Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, output, pricing, or data practices.

AI-generated queries and explanations may be incomplete or incorrect. Review output before executing it, especially against production systems.

We may change, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features and services. Updates may modify existing behavior. We do not promise that every feature, integration, or external service will remain available.

We may refuse service where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of the service and its users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, plusq is provided as is and as available without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shirokane Suri, LLC. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, database charges, or service interruption. Our aggregate liability relating to plusq will not exceed the amount you paid for plusq during the twelve months before the claim.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Shirokane Suri and its personnel against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of plusq, your violation of these terms, your infringement of another person's rights, or databases and content you access without authorization. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our own misconduct.

We may suspend or terminate a license for fraud, chargeback abuse, material breach, or unlawful use. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these terms prospectively. Material changes will be identified by a revised date or reasonable notice.

These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy form the agreement concerning plusq. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. We may assign this agreement as part of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of the plusq business.

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence remain unaffected.
